bupmonkey is a shell front end to bup that simplifies the usage by managing settings for backup jobs in profiles.
In combination with bupbanana LVM and KVM domain snapshots are supported.
Install bup on local and remote side and copy bupmonkey to e.g. /usr/local/bin/. See bupbanana script too.
/usr/local/bin/bupmonkey -c /etc/bup/bupmonkey.conf
