* Various improvements: * Implemented a general way of using RSS module * Created a cron job in the Customer module for cleaning the customer_visitor table * Added a warning message to the Use HTTP It seams that the top category RSS config setting does not take into account the global RSS Setting.
I enabled the
Top Level Categoryrss setting fromSystem->Configuration->RSS feeds->Catalog, but the value forSystem->Configuration->RSS feeds->RSS config->Enable RSSis set todisabled.In the source of the page I can still see this:

Subscribe to RSS Feedlink is visible in the category page.And a question.
After enabling every RSS setting possible I get link tags in the
