Unofficial API wrapper for the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform RESTful API.

Why this wrapper

Entsoe API responses are formatted in XML, which is not suitable for Javascript applications. This wrapper automatically converts the response into the more compatible JSON format.

Installation

npm i entsoe-api-node

Getting started

Import the module and create a new client using the security token. To get access to an security token you need to register the Transparency Platform and send an email to transparency@entsoe.eu with “Restful API access” in the subject line. Indicate the email address you entered during registration in the email body. When granted access there will be an option to generate an security token under account settings.

Public REST Endpoints

Time is always expressed in UTC.

dayAheadPrices

Get the published prices for given bidding zone. The result is always returned as 24 hours, starting from midnight local time of the specified bidding zone.

Customize the result by passing a function to handle the XML response.

BiddingZones

An utility bidding zone map is also being exported by the package in order for you to make readable request while using the API.
