Apologies, but we're not currently accepting changes to translations at the moment. Read https://hacks.mozilla.org/2020/12/an-update-on-mdn-web-docs-localization-strategy/ for an explanation.

The good news is that we will be hopefully opening up the fr locale soon.

Pinging @SphinxKnight here — do you want to keep track of such issues somewhere while we figure this out?

hello all,
@chrisdavidmills if there is a way to label them (l10n-fr or something else) before being able to transfer them to some other repo , I'd be happy with that (if I understood correctly, the French content will live under another repo than this one)
If not and if the amount of such issues stays "reasonnable", I'll keep a manual record.

I've added a label as suggested, to help with housekeeping.

@chrisdavidmills could you help me move this one over mdn/translated-content ? (either I don't have the right privileges to do so or I didn't see how to do that :s ) I'd like to so for the other as well. Let me know if I should file a distinct issue about moving them. Thanks!

@SphinxKnight moved! I also had a look, and it turns out that to transfer issues you need write permissions on both the "from" and "to" repositories. So I've just given you write permissions on this one as well.

You should start to see a "Transfer issue" link in the right-hand column of issues, near the bottom.
