This release has many enhancements for first time users, an ability to ignore invite requests, and many important bug fixes.

Features

  • New users can now download a snapshot of the blockchain reducing their first download from hours to minutes.
  • You can now ignore invite requests.
  • New users can export their wallet's to the Merit mobile app using a QR code.

Bug Fixes

  • It is possible now to invite users when the wallet is encrypted and locked. Before an error was thrown when trying to invite a user when the wallet was password locked. Now the password dialog will show up.
  • New users got an assert error in referrals.cpp line 96.
  • An security exploit was fixed that made it possible to sit on aliases.
  • The miner would restart too quickly when a transaction entered the mempool.
