Introduction🖖

This project explores the potential of drones to revolutionize transportation infrastructure. With the ability to deliver small items to remote and urgent locations, drones have the potential to change the way we think about transportation and logistics. Through this project, I aim to showcase the benefits of drone technology and how it can be used to improve our daily lives. From delivering medical supplies to remote regions to facilitating emergency response, the possibilities of drones are limitless.

Step One - Tools and Technologies used 🎼

  • Spring Boot(V2.7.3)
  • Spring Data JPA
  • Lombok (To get rid of boilerplate code by providing encapsulations support)
  • JDK 1.8
  • Embedded Tomcat
  • Mysql Database(Mysql Workbench)
  • Maven
  • Java IDE (Intellij)

Step Two - Steps to Run the project Locally ⚙️

MySQL Workbench was used to run the database locally. Navigate to Project application.yml and modify the database credential per your Database server requirement such as username and password

Installation

  • Clone this repo:
git clone https://github.com/michaelik/Drone-Rest-Service.git
  • Navigate to the root directory of the project.
  • Build the application
./mvnw clean install
  • Run the application
./mvnw spring-boot:run
