The structure of a BIDS path

Assume the following BIDS path:
/storage/project-A/sub-01/ses-test/eeg/sub-01_ses-test_task-visual_eeg.vhdr
This path encodes for a number of different information on the recording.
/storage/project-A/sub-01/ses-test/eeg/sub-01_ses-test_task-visual_eeg.vhdr
/storage/project-A/sub-01/ses-test/eeg/sub-01_ses-test_task-visual_eeg.vhdr
/storage/project-A/sub-01/ses-test/eeg/sub-01_ses-test_task-visual_eeg.vhdr
/storage/project-A/sub-01/ses-test/eeg/sub-01_ses-test_task-visual_eeg.vhdr
/storage/project-A/sub-01/ses-test/eeg/sub-01_ses-test_task-visual_eeg .vhdr
Note that in the current MNE-BIDS implementation, the extension contains the leading period.
