Android RecyclerView Demo

This Demo demonstrating the use of RecyclerView to layout elements with a LinearLayoutManager. It also demonstrates how to handle touch events on elements.

Introduction

this Demo demonstrating the use of RecyclerView to layout elements with a LinearLayoutManager.

RecyclerView can display large datasets that can be scrolled efficiently by recycling a limited number of views. Click listeners can be defined when ViewHolder views are instantiated. RecyclerView is available in the v7 Support Library, thus compatible with API level 7 and above.

Pre-requisites

• Android SDK 26
• Android Build Tools v26.0.1
• Android Support Repository

Getting Started

This sample uses the Gradle build system. To build this project, use the "gradlew build" command or use "Import Project" in Android Studio.
