POS

With the new Mollie Point-of-Sale terminals, you can use Shopware to accept payments in your physical store. The terminals are fully integrated with Shopware, so you can use the same payment methods in your physical store as you do in your online store.

Configuration

POS is integrated like every other payment method in Shopware. Just activate it, and make sure it's assigned to your Sales Channels.

Please also verify that the payment method is enabled within your Mollie Dashboard.

Workflow

When POS has been enabled for the checkout, the buying user will see a dropdown with all available terminals. The names of the terminals can be adjusted with the help of the Mollie support team (not the plugin team).

Once a terminal has been selected, continue the checkout. You will now see a waiting-page that shows that you should proceed on the selected terminal.

The terminal will in the meantime show the amount that should be paid.

Once the payment is done, the Shopware waiting-page will automatically redirect either to the success or failure page of Shopware.

What to consider?

Please make sure that the Mollie POS feature is unlocked for your Mollie account. Once this is done, and your terminals are set up, you can immediately start to receive payments.

How to test POS?

Testing the POS feature is really simple.

In test mode, there is a special "test terminal" available that you can use.

You will also be redirected to the waiting-page, but in test mode, there is a button that opens the Mollie sandbox page in a separate tab. You can then select any payment status in this tab.

Once submitted, the original tab with the waiting-page will automatically redirect you, exactly like with a real terminal.
