Improvements:
- New presenter mode: Second screen is always one slide ahead of the main screen
Known problems (same as last release):

- Custom layout creation might not work in some situations or has some visual glitches. This feature is still experimental.
- Minimum system requirements are OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) and has been tested on 10.14 (Mojave).
Please let me know about problems and bugs.

Custom layout support
Early release with a basic set of features. Runs stable in tested situations but may crash in other circumstances.
The custom layout support has been improved. Custom layouts can be exported and imported. Also some bugs have been fixed.
It supports:
- Setting presentation mode to Interleave, Split/Split inverse, Mirror and Custom
- The mode is automatically inferred at runtime (might be wrong) or can be chosen manually
- Custom mode allows to define entirely new slide arrangements based on full or splitted slides
- Timer on the helper screen (currently not for custom mode)
- Unlimited displays and separate windows (only in custom mode)
Known problem:
- Preview images in custom layout editor shrink
- Slow with large files
- High memory consumption for large files
- Handling display config changes not properly implemented
Minimum system requirements are OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) and has been tested on 10.11 (El Capitan) as well. Please let me know about problems and bugs.
Unified alpha version

It supports:

The options to create custom slide layouts are still under development but should already be usable.

Alpha version (backwards compatible, fixed for El Capitan)
Early release with a basic set of features. Runs stable in tested situations but may crash in other circumstances. Covers at least all of the features of the imported project.
_The first alpha version used OS X 10.10 only features. To remain backwards compatibility this version comes without the requirement for OS X 10.10. It comprises the same features as the other alpha version. If you have at least OS X 10.10 I nevertheless recommend to use this version: https://github.com/mpflanzer/splitshow/releases/tag/v0.9.5-alpha2_
Minimum system requirements are OS X 10.8. I have tested it for OS X 10.10 and currently I am only able to test for OS X 10.11. Please let me know about potential bugs.
