If you share content from your site to either Hacker News or Lobsters, you can link to these posts directly by setting the hacker_news_id and/or lobsters_id in the content parameters.
Both these ids can be found in the URL's these sites generate. For Hacker News, this should be an 8-digit number at the end of the URL:
https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=XXXXXXXX
Lobsters also includes a content ID in each URL, but it's not the last term. Rather, it can be found as 6 alpha-numeric characters before the title:
https://lobste.rs/s/XXXXXX/some_title
