Rethink user validation flow

Open an issue to keep track of the resolution of the validation flows. We need to make sure that the date pickers offer the most common validation workflow, each come with different tradeoffs: #1927 (comment).

I have seen a couple of issues related to this problem so far, making an umbrella issue, to keep track of them and make sure there are no holes.

• clearable and autoOk does not work on DateRangePicker #1927
• ToolbarComponent is not working for DesktopDateRangePicker or MobileDateRangePicker #1948 (comment), change default of disableCloseOnSelect to false. It doesn't matter if it's mobile or desktop.
