Touch ripple effect in Firefox takes a long time to invoke click callback. #12667

  • [ X ] I have searched the issues of this repository and believe that this is not a duplicate.

Expected Behavior

Clicking on a button with a touch ripple should fire click event right away on FF.

Current Behavior

Clicking on a button with a touch ripple gives a laggy look & feel.

Steps to Reproduce

Go to https://material-ui.com/ Using FireFox
Click on anything with a touch ripple effect.. you'll feel it right away.

Environment

Macbook Pro (15-inch, 2017)
Firefox 61.0.2
