Multiline Input display & errors

I have two TextField fields which are otherwise identical, except one has multiline={true}. By toggling multiline true/false I can reproduce and eliminate the following two problems:

1. I get the following error, despite having an onChange handler on the field: "Warning: You provided a value prop to a form field without an onChange handler. This will render a read-only field. If the field should be mutable use defaultValue. Otherwise, set either onChange or readOnly. Check the render method of EnhancedTextarea."
2. When I provide an initial multi-line value for the multiline field, only the first line is visible, even after clicking into the field - I have to either use the arrow keys, or click and drag with the mouse, to scroll down and see the additional lines.
