Mutalyzer Syntax Checker Help

Users can check the correctness of the standard nomenclature syntax. The Syntax Checker uses a context-free parser to detect deviations from the standard nomenclature syntax in the input. The position of the deviation is indicated in the error message and by a caret (^) below the description. Due to the complexity of the syntax, the character(s) expected by the parser may be incorrect.

Examples resulting in errors:

  • NM_003002.2:c.274G<T
  • AB026906:c.3_4inG
  • AB026906.1:c.35_36ins
  • LRG_1t:c.266G>T
