Generally speaking if you have hardware that was sold in the past 10 years you should be ok.
However, we have ran into a few issues where we discovered we didn't have support for things like:
Intel Core i7-900 (Bloomfield D0) / Xeon Processor 3500 (Bloomfield D0) - XSAVE
Your hardware should support VT-X or amd-v extensions at the very least.
