IMPORTANT NOTE: The credentials generated in this guide should be treated like passwords. NEVER share your credentials with anyone unless you know what you're doing. If you think your credentials are compromised, please return to the credentials page, generate new ones and delete the previous ones.
If you don't want to setup these credentials yourself, I provide a service that allows you to get access to most TTS engines. Learn more about it here.
- Create an IBM Cloud account
- Create an IBM Watson Text-to-Speech Service
- Get your IBM Watson Text-to-Speech API key
- Go to: https://cloud.ibm.com/catalog/services/text-to-speech
- Create an IBM Cloud account
Once your account has been created, create an IBW Watson Text-to-Speech service.
- Go to: https://cloud.ibm.com/catalog/services/text-to-speech
- Select the location closest to yours in "Select a location"
- Click on "I have read and agree to the following license agreements" then click "Create"
Once IBW Watson Text-to-Speech has been enabled, get your API Key for the service you just created.
- Go to: https://cloud.ibm.com/resources
- Under the "Services and software" tab you should see the name of the service you just created. Click on the name to go to this service's page.
- On the "Manage" tab you should have access to your API key for this service as well as the URL used to access this service
- Copy the API key and the URL and paste them into Izabela
After that you should be able to use IBM Watson in Izabela.
