France, UTC+1 although I'll be in UTC-7 (Alberta) soon for about a month.

Maybe we can open a doodle with some proposed times?

Maybe we can get some more day/time options going there? A simple yes/no on one option doesn't really help. Thanks for getting something up though @mikeal. I was out running errands at the time I suggested it 👍

I'll be there. Let me know the hangout URL.

To anyone interested, I'm using Zenhub to help me organize the issues on this repo, including the meeting-agenda items :)

I can do any time monday during the day.

Should we do 2:00 (EST) like the core TC does?

Looks like that is the time with the most availability for everyone.

I just closed the Doodle and it's now on the io.js shared calendar. I also created a public hangout on air but now I can't find it so we may end up using another one if I can't find it by Monday.

Google is so usable.

@mikeal, any luck on that public link for this thread? We'll also need the private hangout link emailed out to the team :)

I created a new label "wg-agenda" to more closely match the "tc-agenda" label in io.js.

I'm going to edit the description now to cover some of the new agenda items.

I moved the agenda section to bullets instead of check boxes because each item is only done when we take action in the linked issue after the WG comes to a consensus.

Awesome re-organization efforts @mikeal. Hopefully we don't run in to "overtime" with so much to discuss, although I imagine many of the points here will actually be quick ones. We shouldn't be afraid to table anything that starts to border on a lengthy tangent/debate if we're not really going to reasonable tackle it before the next meeting.

it's now on the io.js shared calendar

@mikeal where is the shared calendar?

Is the hangout link mentioned above for viewers as well as participants? ( https://plus.google.com/events/cgr2earsvuit8c05ljibbfqmkrk )

@zeke I think it's for everyone

We should have a private Hangout link a Group admin will have access to versus the public view-only. At least based on the last time I setup an On Air (almost a year ago?) Anyway, probably best for this one if all the WG are on IRC as well to coordinate link sharing, etc. as needed.

if a bunch of non-WG people show up and are distracting then we can make the next one private but until then let's try just making it entirely public.

I may just be a noob with this, but I don't even see where to join as a non-viewer on the link provided...

Can we coordinate this on IRC? FYI if we're not Page admins we won't have "public" access to be in the hangout, although you as an Admin may have a link/method in the Hangout UI itself to invite others to the "private" side.

I went through and removed the wg-agenda from the topics we covered today so we can get a new list started for next week. Also closed the issues that mikeal's commits seemed to finish. Any objections to closing this thread and getting the next one started?

Nope, +1 👍

Closing issue. Will open new issue for next week's meeting.
