Looks good. My only question is on the naming of "SimpleVariable" and other similar types/methods. What makes a variable simple?
It's just to indicate that it occupies a single address in memory! I'm very open to alternative names though! |
If these variables are always fields/integers then perhaps IntegerVariable, NumericVariable, or similar? |
They are always a number but they could be a pointer too, which is also a number, but feels a little weird to call numeric to a reference 🤔 |
Maybe something closer to the "single address in memory" description then? |
I see that in acir we call something similar "AcirVar". Maybe BrilligVariable could be renamed to BrilligValue and SimpleVariable to BrilligVar to keep it consistent 🤔 |

That could be good. With the name suggestion I mostly just wanted to make sure we weren't introducing new concepts where we could re-use existing ones. I'll leave it to you whichever you think is clearest. |
