+Development can be done on a local nostr relay. This allows experimentation while developing features or fixing bugs.

+1. Spin up a local relay, such as [nostr_relay](https://pypi.org/project/nostr-relay/) (python) or [nostr-rs-relay](https://github.com/scsibug/nostr-rs-relay) (rust).
+2. In `settings.ts` add the relay to `localRelays`, commenting out any others.
+3. Then in the UI go to http://localhost:5173/t (wait a minute for all the events to populate after you do this).
