@cngzhnp thanks for the PR, the dependency on Thrift will be removed in #2031.

Thanks for the PR.

As noted earlier, the Jaeger exporter is going away, so that thrift will also be removed.

There is no need to upgrade thrift then, so this PR can be closed.
