Hi everyone,

Following the issue with #2741, I have compiled the sample app from Google for MLKit.
It seems like the current Flutter plugin we use doesn't behave as well as this demo app.

(Select Kotlin -> Live Preview)

In this case where you decoding issues, please try it and let me know if it's better or not.

I tried java, live preview activity and barcode scanning, and it did work (FPS about 4).
[edit: added] Same results with kotlin, live preview activity and barcode scanning: it works and FPS about 4.

On my Sony phone (#2927) this app works and it detects barcodes which the OFF app would not (same lighting and distance from camera)

Ok, it confirms MLKit works on your device.
On the other issue, I've linked another APK. Could you try it please?

I close this issue, as I prefer one issue per device.
Thanks in advance.
