1.c Leadership Roles
At Orcasound, we’re proud to work on web-based projects that benefit marine conservation efforts. To help us continue to scale the UX team, product managers help lead a multidisciplinary product effort. Product Managers at Orcasound know or desire to learn how to strategize the full UX to development lifecycle of a product, from conception to release. Product Managers are confident leaders who can guide cross-functional teams in the creation of products that improve user experience of Orcasound webpages and web-apps.
Responsibilities
- Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and discovery research, comparative analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, UX project teams, and engineering volunteers in the development, QA, and release of products, and balance resources to ensure success for the entire organization
If you would like to help shepherd UX work from conception to development, please post a message in the Slack channel linked below.
