Roadmap / Future of LUYA

Hello :)

I just wanted to hop in and ask, what the future plans of LUYA look like. Is there anything like a roadmap? Are there any plans for updates including newer technologies e. g. for the admin frontend? What's the current position in terms of Yii3?

• No further plans but provide updates to any recent php versions, we have good test setups to do so 👍

• Any Pull Request with enhancments are still welcome ⭐
• Update to another frontend language would take to long, makes no sense. 🔕
• Personally, i am very critical with the Yii3 development - which is sad, cause yii2 was very good. There is "no" community with extensions, all yii2 extensions are outdated. It feels like no activity, which goes of course hand in hand with LUYA. No yii developers, no need for yii cms 😞

So definitely no more plans for something like a LUYA 2 (maybe with another tech stack)?

Taking long time, yes, but I think things like this make a CMS unattractive for new devs. But I totally understand you can't or don't want to put time into this.

I haven't looked that much into Yii3, I only tested it long ago and kept an eye on its roadmap. So your critics are mainly about the "community" and outdated extensions, or more about core things that changed?
Totally agree with the community part, which is in fact sad for both Yii and LUYA.
