Search is one of the best/greatest features of qBittorrent.
Please include it in WebUI - it would also greatly simplify the adding of a torrent from remote location.

Need this. Would make remotely connecting to qBittorrent and downloading much easier.

Looking forward to this feature in the API. People using the Android app have asked it.

Then we wouldn't have to run X to use it - just a tiny little server in a container somewhere. Very efficient :)

+1 for searching. Would love to use it in headless mode in simple devices. It works really well and fast.

For those who haven't found a alternative yet.

You can do this using HTPC Manager and Jackett (Both can be run on Docker)

On HTPC Manager you can enable Jackett on the settings like this:
chrome_2017-11-29_16-23-01
And Enable the main switch at the top.

Then you can search using the trackers you added on Jackett:
chrome_2017-11-29_16-24-00

You then can send them straight into qBittorrent/AnyOtherClient, just remember you have to do the setup on the Settings page on HTPC Manager.
