If the base event is a state event, we consider stateKey instead of sender; and we also check other state events' stateKey rather than sender. This covers cases like kicking and (non-self-)banning. Closes #248.
So how does one hide the state changes @KitsuneRal? I haven't found a way to do that in Quaternion. |
It's in the menu: View ->Display in Timeline -> ... Of all state changes, only joins/leaves can be switched on/off for now. |

Synced events always have their event ids, so checking those for event id renders most of the function useless (and returns an incorrect result). Closes quotient-im#248.

This is a part of bigger #219 that is easy to implement and greatly improves experience with IRC netsplits. There should be a global setting, overridable per-room.
