With thanks to @1Password (Cldfire) for the original library (so it appears) and @codifryed for the patch to make it useful for fan control. I spent the day writing a program to control my fans from within Wayland on Linux because GreenWithEnvy requires XOrg to work and then progress came to a frustrating halt when I realised that there was no way to set the fan speed, only to read it. If a blasted python script can do it, why can't I do it in rust? Answer? Somebody set us up the fan control. Thank you.
