Responsibilities of Mentors

Help with most/some of these tasks

Create general guidelines for "successful" projects
Each mentor will be assigned a couple projects
Have mentors keep weekly (or so) tabs on their mentees
Co-ordinate/organize Hackathon per semester
Help with Departmental/Institute events (accepted students/medalists day)
Help with URP (spring research) session and motivate others to submit abstract.
Help maintain Observatory (or recruit volunteers) to help out
Help students realize their goal and provide them pointers and suggestions
