I can verify that the libevent adapter gives the warnings:
..\hiredis\adapters/libevent.h(102,38): warning C4028: formal parameter 1 different from declaration
..\hiredis\adapters/libevent.h(171,76): warning C4028: formal parameter 1 different from declaration
without this change (on a Win10 via virtualbox 64bit).
When using an evutil_socket_t it matches the signature of event_callback_fn where the fd argument is an intptr_t on windows.
Works fine on Linux as well.
