Update default edition to 2024 for code examples #1684

This updates the book to use 2024 as the default edition for examples.

This required updating the mdbook dependency in order to parse the 2024 edition in the book config.

This mainly fixes support for edition 2024 in the mdbook config.

 Locking 61 packages to latest compatible versions
