This is something that happens in Quake 1 (which has redbook CD audio):
When you load a state, the music that was playing before you pressed that load state is playing, instead of the correct music.
For instance, when Quake 1 starts, it plays a heavy metal-ish intro music. Level 1 plays a more ambient tune. I made a save state in level1. But everytime i start the game and it plays the intro music, when i load that state in level 1, the background music doesn't change to the ambient tune, it continues to play the intro music.
Pretty sure that didn't happen in the previous versions of the core.

Yesterday I had a similar issue with another game with CDDA music: SideLine.
I've noticed if you save the state before the BGM switch (=CDDA track switch command) it will work correctly, so maybe this is not actually a regression.
