This is a nicer solution that was introduced here: https://github.com/aws/aws-sdk-go/releases/tag/v1.25.18 (which should also be more stable)
I however failed to spot it during my original PR (#242), so here's a new one that updates aws-sdk-go and uses this recently introduced config-flag instead.
