Problem Statement

Currently, there is a market for secondhand tickets, but it is plagued by inconvenience. Buyers and sellers alike must use communication platforms that are not adapted for this purpose. One consequence of this is that buyers and sellers alike have no way of verifying their potential transactions. This can lead to fraud, theft, or even robbery and assault.

Proposed Solution

Our ETES (Electronic Ticket Exchange Service) aims to provide a solution to this problem. Our platform will include a list of local events as well as a listing of all available buyers/sellers, as well as a billing platform to host the transaction. In addition to a practical solution, we also provide a delivery service, in the case of non-digital tickets, in order to eliminate the inconvenience of coordinating an in-person meeting to exchange money, or otherwise, to complete the transaction. Not only will our service monitor and validate the transaction, but we will use outside delivery services to bring the tickets from buyer to seller. Buyers and sellers will also be able to track their parcel, and receive an estimation for delivery time. Each ticket selection will be a single transaction, meaning there will be no “shopping cart” feature, which is common with eCommerce.
