Misinformation is rampant on Twitter and fact checking is tedious. AutoFactcheck solves this problem by using artificial intelligence to instantly verify if a tweet is accurate. Simply highlight a selection from a Tweet, right click, and click on "Factcheck." The AI will give a rating, a brief explanation, and links to reliable sources. It will also automatically populate a reply for you on Twitter.
- Download this repo as a ZIP file from GitHub.
- Unzip the file and you should have a folder named factcheckextension.
- In Chrome, go to the extensions page (
chrome://extensions). - Enable Developer Mode.
- Drag the factcheckextension folder anywhere on the page to import it (do not delete the folder afterwards).
