I'd say that's a pretty good improvement.
This does make release builds take quite a bit longer, but it shouldn't be a issue because this doesn't apply to regular builds

Can you fix some of the issues and maybe make a precompiled build please?

you could also have just searched "mcpatcher to chime converter" in a search engine

It didn't work for me, but I was able to figure out with the help of others how to manually convert my pack.
