If you don't know me (and let's face it, you probably don't), my name is Nicholas Chiasson, but most people just call me Nick! Enchanté~! 👋

I've been passionate about software development since my high school days and have always been drawn to the alluring community of open source. Apart from a host of personal projects and learning experiences along my journey, I've recently actually begun making open source contributions, and I now can't stop looking for more fun projects to learn about and help out on.

My goal is to become a depended upon contributor and make friends in the community. nickflix

My current big project is a distributable, cloud hosted video streaming platform that I am titling nickflix in the hopes that Netflix has no problem with that. 😅

Issue Hunting

As I mentioned, I'm constantly looking for more things to contribute to, so I've been browsing IssueHunt and am inclined to take just about any issue so long as it's for a project I find even remotely interesting or that uses tools I am even remotely acquainted with. 🤘

Tools

I like developing arbitrary command-line tools and have sort of recently published my first rust crate. I'm always working on adapting more of my little tools for general purpose in order to publish them too.
