I'm polarity, a college student and open-source lover.
I develop awesome projects (mainly web platforms) that benefit different communities, because I like doing it!
Take a look at some of the exciting endeavors I've uptaken ๐
Virtual Olympiad, an educational collection of platforms, databases, and tools for Science Olympiads. Its supermassive Database contains 10000+ competition problems, neatly indexed, categorized, and populated with intricate metadata. Under the hood, it uses Aesthete, an unofficial API wrapper and scraper for AoPS, and a web LaTeX abstraction layer built on KaTeX optimized for storage and full-text search. I also made the Arena, a powerful mock generator supporting rich customization, modes and multiplayer, so students can have fun practicing with friends.
Math et al Initiative, a Canada-based educational non-profit organization with a focus on STEM. We host various resources, including video lessons, novel competition problems, detailed solutions to popular science contests where they are lacking, and more.
CERXA, a simple proof-of-concept open source WebGL volumetric raytracing engine built from scratch, demonstrating the implementation of Phong shading, shadows, and distance-estimated fractal support.
If you like what I'm doing, please consider backing me. Help me pursue these passions without having to worry about server costs and the sort :)
Thanks for your support! ๐
