@vladimir-kotikov @mbraude here are the changes so far to support VS 15 / VS 2017 as discussed in #580. This is a work in progress with some "XXX" notes and will not be included as is. Among other things these changes will marked as part of a 2.0.x release. There is also a commit with a change to use sqlite 3.15.1 instead of 3.8.10.2 which I do not expect to have any consequences for VS 15. So far I got this to work on a desktop build (x86) on VS 15 preview 5.
