I'm growing rather tired of a few of the design patterns throughout the project. This issue will serve as a tracking issue for the various areas I'd like to improve and/or redesign:
Settings pages (e.g. library settings, series settings, etc.) but the library settings page in particular is a bit of a mess. The horizontal width is arguably over-constrained and the layout is a bit awkward. Part of my beef is that there are enough sub-sections to warrant additional navigation, but the layout already has a header with tab navigation and the main sidebar navigation to the left
Entity cards (e.g. series cards, library cards, etc.). This issue supercedes Redesign entity cards #343, and I'll paste my original gripe here:
I'm finding that the entity cards and the grid size scaling is rather awkward lately, with a little stretching on some view-port sizes. I'm creating this issue to make sure I budget time to try and rewrite/redesign those components
The file explorer looks awkward when wrangling both entries with and without thumbnails. This is because the thumbnails assume a comic ratio, and generally if no thumbnail is loaded the folder icon is used. This isn't terrible, but I'd like to see if I can come up with a prettier solution
It's important to note that while I find myself frustrated or tired of these areas, changing them won't necessarily be a priority. I'll still be focusing on other core features and improvements first. Hopefully some design-minded folks will come along and help out with these areas before I get to them.
