Any, 6.2.72 or earlier.

Installation method

Any.

Expected behavior

"System log" setting in Listmaster Admin menu would be useful, or this function should be removed.

Actual behavior

It is usually not useful, because:

  • It affects the log level of only one instance of WWSympa, even if multiple instances are running.
  • It doesn't affect the log level of the other services including sympa_msg.pl daemon.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Login to the web UI as a listmaster.

  2. Select [Listmaster Admin] -> [System log].

  3. Choose Log level and click [Set log level].

  4. Check the system log.
