llll# android_political-activism-tracker
Who knows who will change the world if they don’t show up?
The Threshold is to encourage offline political action. Anyone who tentatively interested in an in-person political event, rally, or other conference can post the event they want to go to, and request that others join them. Other people can say they’ll go too.
Threshold may increase the attendance of political / advocacy events, which would encourage those sponsoring organizations to continue their efforts.
Android Studio must be installed.
- In terminal, navigate to your Desktop
- git clone https://github.com/thejensen/android_threshold
- Open Android Studio
- Open PoliticalActivismTracker (Yes, that's the folder name)
- Click the green arrow to run the app in a Galaxy S6 emulator running API 23
- Events do not expire
- Validation in event intake form
- Need character limit on event title d’oh
- when a user saves an event, it updates the global event count and theirs. but when another user saves the same global event, it doesn’t update the first user’s saved count.
- Need placeholder for 0 saved events ugh
- Users can request that other people should go
- Sort / search events by city / date
- When the required number of people for the poster to go to the event is reached, the program will notify the user via email / text / something.
- Instant messaging between users per event
- And maaany more
