transitioning (left / right) through slides in Presenter mode flickers ~~when using Chrome~~

Summary

When in presenter mode and using left / right arrow keys to navigate through the slides, there is a quick flicker and you can see the background (the main page) can be seen for a second. Not reproducible in Safari, Edge, or FF.

Searching does appear to confirm this is a Chrome only issueand seems to be a casualty of using an <iframe> for the general implementation / architecture behind this.

Perhaps this a good opportunity to explore a non <iframe> approach?

Also seems to happen in other browsers as well, but either way, what I found out in #18 is that the work around of masking the background with the theme color was not working anyway. So flicker or not, at least #18 doesn't incur the flicker. Can work on better solutions as part of #19 if we want.
