In order to address #94 and #97 changes to the public interface are needed. This incorporates this simplification as well as cleans up the public interface to take advantage of the
hash_oncefunction to avoid the complexity related to specialization in the 0.7 version.Obviously as this is backward incompatible this requires bumping the version to 0.8.
There are no changes to the hashing algorithm.
