The following was copied from panologichelp blog for easy reference

Pano Logic G1, G2 and G2M zero client serial numbers are in a format such as YYCWWUUUUU where:

YY = Last two digits of the year in which the Pano device was manufactured.

C = A Pano Logic contract manufacture code assigned that is relative to which contract manufacture produced the unit.

WW = Week of year in which the device was manufactured.

UUUUU = Unique alpha numeric characters associated with the device.

The first three bytes of all Pano Logic zero clients start with 00-1C-02. The next character represents the contract manufacture code that produced the unit (C) and is followed by the last five unique alpha numeric characters of the Pano device.

For Pano devices that have a -xPLC0 appended to the serial number, this information is ignored in the conversion. A -0PLCO would classify the device as being a G1 Pano whereas a -2PLC0 would classify the device as a G2.

Using the above format we can see the serial number to MAC address conversion below for several Pano devices.
