I tried logging into trac (the mpc-hc project) using my Google Account (OpenID Login), and hit this screen:

"OpenID 2.0 for Google Accounts has gone away"

trac-openid

Which means that I can't login :(

Google has a migration guide here: https://developers.google.com/identity/protocols/OpenID2Migration

Yes, I was bit by this too.

I just whipped up a new plugin, trac-oidc which uses the OpenID Connect protocol to authenticate with google. If you were only using google as an authentication provider for your trac, the new plugin may work for you. You can find it on PyPI as well as here on github.

I notice, too, that @cigas has a fork of TracAuthOpenId wherein it looks like he is working on adding support for OpenID Connect authentication against google. (I have no idea what the status of his code is.)

The code works-for-me, but I don't know if anyone else has tried it. I have a demo site which allows using either google, yahoo, verisign or wordpress.
