While the "test timeout doesn't fail the test" problem have already been fixed, the timed out tests are not actually cancelled. This PR attempts to cancel them (but doesn't actually wait for the cancel to finish, in case the test is uncancelable).
I don't know how to test-test this, but tried out manually with a cancelable but infinite test case (not included).
