Thanks for providing this example! I have suggestions on how to use Honeycomb, since that's my job.
I got some questions today about the data in Honeycomb from this library; the metrics are confusing. It is clearer when they are in their own dataset, so the schema is separate. You can query all datasets in an environment together, so they're still linked to the spans.
It used to be that all the data for Production belonged in one dataset, but then we added this Environments concept. So here's a suggestion for the docs.
