ArchivesSpace at UGA

The Hargrett and Russell Libraries implemented ArchivesSpace in 2020 when it migrated from Archivists' Toolkit and have been in production since. We have implemented a few plugins, but this is our first custom plugin.

Check URLs Report

This plugin takes many different notes and other fields in the ArchivesSpace database and checks for the existence of URLs. If a URL is found, it then does an http request and retrieves the response code. If the response code is an error (anything other than a 200 status), it records the URL and error and adds it to a hash to return the report.
