uGet Integration extension replaces the default download manager with uGet Download Manager. All you need to do is simply clicking on download links. You can also right click on links and download with uGet even if the extension is temporarily disabled.
If you prefer to download something in the browser itself, you can disable interruption by pressing CTRL+Shift+U or by disabling the extension using its popup dialog.
Right-click on a Youtube page and select uGet Integration
--> Download media with uGet
Disclaimer: uGet respects the YouTube Policies so depending on the individual settings of a video it may not be possible to download video from YouTube. The vast majority of videos will be available for use in uGet. The reason this was done instead of using something youtube-dl is that this method allows uGet for Android to also download YouTube videos as well as not have to worry about the ever-changing APIs of YouTube that consistently breaks alternative methods of downloading.
uGet extension allows you to filter downloads based on file size, file type, and keywords.
For example, you can skip ISO
files as shown below:
Also, you can skip URLs containing a specific keyword:
Sometimes, you may need to download more than one files from a web page. uGet handles the batch download and lets you filter URLs based on their host or file type.
Please note that this feature is still under development. Therefore it may not support famous video hosting services.
To check whether uGet can download media(audio/video) from a page, right click on the page and see whether Download media with uGet
option is active. If it is active, go ahead and download. If there are more than one media, uGet will treat them as a batch download.
