Getting started

These are suggested steps for cloning and compiling. The steps vary depending on which version of git you are using. I am assuming you are using git from a command line of some variety.

git version 2.13 or newer

git clone --recurse-submodules https://github.com/uglyoldbob/decompiler.git

cd decompiler

git version 1.9 to 2.12

git clone --recursive https://github.com/uglyoldbob/decompiler.git

cd decompiler

git version 1.6.5 or newer

git clone --recursive https://github.com/uglyoldbob/decompiler.git

cd decompiler

older git

git clone https://github.com/uglyoldbob/decompiler.git

cd decompiler

git submodule update --init --recursive

Building

mkdir build

cd build

../configure

make

Windows

Install msys2 (https://www.msys2.org/)

Open msys2 msys from start menu

pacman -S mingw-w64-x86_64-gcc

pacman -S autoconf

pacman -S automake

pacman -S make

pacman -S libtool

Close msys2 and open msys mingw64

Clone the repository and browse to it.

Create a build folder

Create a udis86/build/m4 folder

In the udis86 directory, run autoreconf --force -v --install

Change to the build folder

Run ../configure

Run make
